976-Tuna Youth Fishing Program
The 976-Tuna Youth Fishing Program Seeks to provide children in Southern California with the
opportunity to experience the wonders of saltwater sport fishing.
Though an introduction to the sport, the program hopes to
instill in children a sense of appreciation of the wonders
of nature as encountered on the Pacific Ocean along the coast
of Southern California.
The 976-Tuna Youth Fishing Program is a community service program of America's original and most respected saltwater fishing information hotlines, "976-Tuna". Begun in 1993 by Philip Friedman, the founder and "voice" of 976-Tuna, the Youth Fishing Program has provided thousands of children the opportunity to catch their first fish.
